Long description:
"Aryan memory remix" is a album of electronic reconstructions of traditional music from Pamir (collected during an ethnographic expedition to the mountainous areas of Tajikistan in search of traces of the Aryan homeland) made by world fusion band Baraka from Riga with the participation of young opera star Devika. The main theme of this album is an attempt to close ancient culture legacy to the modern mind by using the language of contemporary music. Groovy lounge, easy listening & dub tunes echoes with timeless chants of Pamir which open a window into the mysterious world of the ancient Aryans.

Используя различные нестандартные подходы, смело соединяя элементы традиционной музыки с джазовой импровизацией и дабовыми ритмами, "Baraka" виртуозно справляется с задачей и создает новое направление в прочтении традиционной музыки. Невозможно передать в одном музыкальном произведении весь колорит музыки Памира. Ремиксы на одну из древнейших музыкальных традиций нашей цивилизации - это смесь современного джаза с электроникой, арт рока и классического вокала на основе этники. Как далеко бы мы не уходили в своих музыкальных путешествиях, на волнах джаза или классики, этника остается главной нотой в каждой тональности, в каждом вздохе, в каждом ударе пульса всех музыкантов планеты.
