    Vasily Evhimovich is the artist specializing in performance of authentic traditional Russian songs which he sings to the hurdy-gurdy and accordion, as well as a-capella, and with friends.
    Vasily also manufactured Russian wheel lire (hurdy-gurdy) by himself. This album was recorded in his studio-workshop in the village Povodnevo in Yaroslavl region on the Volga River.
    The album includes songs from the headwaters of the Oka river, as well as songs from Belgorod, Russian North, Siberia and even from Tatarstan.

Василий Евхимович – исполнитель традиционного русского фольклора и мастер русских колесных лир. На альбоме «Колесная лира, гармонь и Василий Евхимович. Здесь был Вася» мы можем услышать и старинные духовные стихи и песни царской России и песни военных лет. Песни исполняемые Василием пришли к нам из самых разных концов России - и с Верхней Оки, и с белгородчины, и с русского севера, и из Сибири, и даже из Татарстана, и ещё много откуда... В записи альбома Василию помогали его друзья из фольклорного клуба “Широкий двор” (г.Мышкин).
Стоит отметить, что колесные лиры произведенные Василием считаются одними из самых лучших в России!
