Группа SHONO была образована в 2014 году Александром Архинчеевым. Александр профессионально исполняет бурятские сказания и эпосы-улигеры, владеет горловым пением и мастерски играет на бурятских и монгольских традиционных инструментах.
Дух древних кочевых обрядов пронизывает весь альбом, создавая неповторимую атмосферу. Легко и непринужденно, используя обычный на первый взгляд состав инструментов, музыканты завоевывают внимание слушателя на протяжении всего альбома. Драйв и четко выдержанные
рок-н-рольные ритмы ставят группу в один ряд с лучшими современными группами сибирского и монгольского этно-рока.
Альбом «Hunters» будет настоящим подарком для всех любителей горлового пения. Такие стили, как хоомей и эсхэрээ (сыгыт) можно услышать в большинстве песен, причем местами поют сразу несколько участников группы.

SHONO was founded in 2014 by Alexander Arhincheev. Alexander professionally performes Buryat legends and epics (uliger), masters several throat singing styles and skillfully plays the Buryat and Mongolian traditional instruments.
The spirit of the ancient rituals of Eurasian grasslands pervades the whole album, creating a unique atmosphere. Easily and naturally the musicians capture the attention of the listener throughout the album. Appropriately balanced against the background of traditional melodic heritage, rock-roll drive and rhythm put the group on a par with the best groups of the contemporary Siberian and Mongolian ethno-rock, such as Yat Kha, Namgar, Altan Urag etc.
SHONO’s new album, «Hunters» is a real gift for all fans of throat singing. Such styles as Khoomei and Eskheree (sygyt) can be heard in most songs, at times featuring simultaneous throatsinging by several members of the group.

This is the best recording of Tuvan throat singing I've heard. The acoustics of the Pasadena City Hall dome where it was recorded are excellent. Kongar is the best. Ann Arbor

i like this version better than the original. The middle part has that aggression that makes the excellent balance with the beginning and ending of the song. owlobo
