Танцевальная мелодия «Под пляс», во время которой певцы- скоморохи имитируют звуки птиц. Птицы являлись ведущей темой в творчестве древнерусских музыкантов, актеров —скоморохов. Птицам приписывалось мистическое свойство предвосхищать явление древних языческих богов. Также в более ритмической части композиции под звуки волынок могли свершаться акробатические действа и сатирические сцены.

Dance tune, at the sound of which skomorokh singers imitate birds songs. Birds were the leitmotif of the music of wandering minstrels — skomorokhs. Birds were believed to possess a mystic ability to herald the appearing of ancient pagan gods. Also during the more rhythmic part of the composition, led by bagpipes, some acrobatic stunts and satirical performances could be made.
